Andersonville Mindfulness & Psychology
I am a trauma-informed clinical extern with a deep passion for empowering clients to build meaningful lives aligned with their values. Trauma, stemming from various experiences like unmet childhood needs, discrimination, and/or microaggressions, can lead to harmful self-narratives and ineffective coping mechanisms, often manifesting in anxiety and depression and a disconnection from our bodies and the present moment.
As a clinician, I strive to foster a caring relationship where we navigate trauma together and co-create healthy coping strategies to help you reach your therapy goals. Our work together will be built on a grounded foundation that utilizes non-judgmental listening to uncover your values and aspirations. My goal is to support clients in reclaiming their authentic selves, nurturing self-compassion, and fostering a sense of safety within themselves and their relationships.
Drawing from trauma-informed, body-based, and strengths-based practices in Humanistic/Existential Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, we will collaborate on a personalized treatment plan that is tailored to your preferences and life experience. My therapeutic approach is inclusive and intersectional, embracing cultural humility. I am particularly committed to providing disability-affirmative and LGBTQIA+ affirmative care, having personal connections to these communities.
I am honored to engage in therapeutic work with clients. If my approach resonates with you, please contact me to arrange an initial phone call or session.
