How much does therapy cost?

Intake sessions with staff clinicians range from $180 to $200 for a 55 minute session. Therapy sessions are $160 for 55 minute sessions.

Intake and therapy sessions with staff clinicians and interns/externs are available at lower fees. Our intake team will work with you to identify a fee that is manageable for you.

Do you take my insurance?

We have clinicians who can bill the following insurances:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Blue Choice PPO plans
  • Cigna/Evernorth plans
  • Aetna plans
  • Optum/United Healthcare Plans*

Please note that we are not able to bill any HMO plans. Additionally, not all team members can accept the same types of insurance plans.* However, our Intake Team will advise you on coverage limitations.

You may also be able to use your insurance on an out-of-network basis. This means that you will most likely be responsible for a larger portion of the cost of our work together. We will ask you to pay the entire session fee each time we meet. We will then give you a statement you can provide to the insurance company. Any reimbursement that is due will then be sent directly to you by your insurer.

Our Intake Team will research your insurance benefits for you. If you would like to gain your own understanding of your benefits, we recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
  • Does the same company that manages my medical benefits also handle my mental health benefits?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
  • Do I have a copay/coinsurance? If so, how much is it?
  • Are there any restrictions on session length that will be covered?
  • Are there any diagnoses that are not covered?
  • Are there any mental health services that are not covered by my insurance plan?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Does my plan run on a calendar year, or a contract year?
  • Does my insurance plan have EAP (Employee Assistance Plan) benefits? If so, how do I apply to use those benefits?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We strongly recommend using a credit or debit card, and we make that as easy as possible. Checks and cash can also be accepted.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session, which may be up to $200. We hate charging these fees, but we also have to be considerate of our clinician’s schedules.
