What We’re About

Our mission is to increase access to trauma-informed, evidence-based, mindfulness-infused, and LGBTQ+ affirmative psychotherapy and psychological services.

Trauma, depression, anxiety, and other problems can have a tremendous impact on our ability to be productive and happy. Navigating the process of finding a therapist you can trust, who accepts your insurance or is affordable, and who you “click” with can add additional layers of stress when you are already struggling. Andersonville Mindfulness & Psychology seeks to provide as much support as possible during this process whether we end up working together or not.

Andersonville Mindfulness & Psychology was formed when two established practices, Andersonville Psychology and Chicago Mindful Psychotherapy, merged to take advantage of the clinical expertise at each practice and increase our ability to offer care.

When you first reach out to us, therapists who work on our intake team will review your information and help match you with the best clinician for your needs. Intake will verify your insurance benefits or help connect you with reduced fee services if necessary.  Once you are matched with someone, the clinician will reach out to arrange your first meeting and answer any questions you might have.
