Recovery Dharma for Addictions

Andersonville Meeting – Group led by Dan Ware | Ongoing, weekly meeting | Drop-ins allowed

Group facilitated by Dan Ware

Recovery Dharma (formerly called Refuge Recovery) is a non-theistic, Buddhist-inspired approach to recovery from addictions of all kinds. The community-focused recovery group focuses on the practices of mindfulness, compassion, forgiveness, and generosity to heal the pain and suffering that addiction has caused in our lives and the lives of our loved ones.

Weekly peer-led meetings include guided meditations, readings from the book Recovery Dharma, and group sharing and discussion.

Open to people of all backgrounds and respectful of all recovery paths, these meetings are appropriate for anyone in, or interested in, recovery from any form of addictive behavior. No prior meditation or group therapy experience necessary. Donations accepted, but not required. Registration is not required.

Please email the Recovery Dharma-Andersonville group lead, Dan Ware, to ask questions: daniel.ware@gmail.com

Meetings are hosted at Andersonville Mindfulness & Psychology, and facilitated by Recovery Dharma.
