Clinical Intern

believe therapy is a collaborative journey of self-exploration. As a therapist, I like to support you on this journey by validating, challenging, and encouraging you. I believe everyone is the expert of their own lives and I aim to empower each client in exploring their intersectional identities and strengths. Starting or continuing therapy is a brave and vulnerable decision, and I intend to support you, and witness you grow into the person you wish to be.

My approach to therapy is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. In a session this would look like individualized, intersectional therapy tailored to your goals, strengths, and challenges. I have experience utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy techniques, and mindfulness techniques. I incorporate these along with a focus on self-compassion and creativity to help address your presenting challenges and create achievable goals to address them. I actively practice anti-racism, and I create an inclusive and safe environment for folks of all identities and all lived experiences.

You deserve a safe space to challenge and care for yourself, and I hope to help you on this journey towards growth. Thank you for taking a brave step towards therapy, and I can’t wait to meet you!
