Andersonville Mindfulness & Psychology
To me, the therapeutic space is a place of curiosity, growth, and adventure. I hope to connect, to get to know you, and to be a part of your unique life-world by establishing an accepting and trusting relationship as we meet together.
As a queer trans man, I am familiar with the difficulty and importance of finding a place where you will be accepted and cared for who you are; I see the therapeutic space as an opportunity to be who you are without judgement.
In therapy, I strive to meet you where you are in an unimposing and nurturing manner. Whether you are seeking to explore your gender or confront your work anxiety, we will work together to identify your values and find a course of action that aligns with your sense of self. I also believe in the importance of being myself in the space and strive to work with clients to create a space where authenticity, openness, freedom, playfulness, vulnerability, and understanding abound.
I hold a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and have been on staff at Andersonville Mindfulness and Psychology since 2020. I find great joy in working with other trans and gender non-conforming folks, neurodivergent individuals, and teens and young adults who are focusing on identity development, as well as interpersonal concerns. I also offer one-meeting sessions for folks seeking letters of readiness for gender–affirming services such as surgeries.
