I know how meaningful it can be to feel genuinely seen by another person, so my first goal in therapy is to understand you. I hope to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted for who you are, what you have experienced, and who you hope to become.

Our work will be collaborative. Together, we can identify what matters to you, clarify the changes you would like to make, and explore what may be getting in the way. At times, this may involve gently challenging you to consider a different perspective or try a new way of responding. Drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and related approaches, I hope to help you better understand yourself while strengthening your confidence in your own ability to create change.

I am particularly interested in supporting individuals navigating mood-related concerns, anxiety and stress, sleep difficulties, and substance use concerns. I hope our work helps you build skills you can carry beyond the therapy room, make choices more closely aligned with your values, and treat yourself with greater compassion.

As a woman of color and an international student, I recognize that no person can be understood through a single identity. We are each shaped by intersecting identities, and I approach these dimensions with humility and a commitment to understanding you as a whole person. I remain attentive to both the similarities and differences we may bring into the therapy room, and I welcome conversations about how they may influence our relationship and our work together.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and previously worked as a counselor in India, primarily in inpatient and crisis-oriented settings. I moved to Chicago to pursue my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Roosevelt University, where I am building on my previous clinical experience while continuing to develop my skills in individual psychotherapy. I currently provide therapy under supervision at AMP.
