As the Director of Operations and Billing for Andersonville Mindfulness & Psychology, I oversee our billing and insurance procedures, as well as the dynamic administrative and logistical demands of our day-to-day operations. Working closely with our Executive Director and Director of Clinical Services, I also manage and implement AMP’s marketing—from designing in-house promotional assets for groups and workshops to managing our website, newsletter, and social media presence.
One of my most important roles at AMP is fostering and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for our team and everyone who walks through our doors. Whether visitors are here for individual therapy, group sessions, or public-facing workshops and networking gatherings, I strive to ensure that everyone feels supported and at ease.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Humanities, with a focus on Art History and Women’s and Gender Studies, from the University of Michigan-Dearborn (2005). Since moving to Chicago in 2006, I’ve worked across a variety of project management and operational business roles, though AMP is where my work feels most aligned with my personal values and professional goals. I am deeply passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness and advocating for mental healthcare access as a fundamental human right.
Outside of the office, you’ll find me streaming ’90s media, gardening, and supporting neighbors facing food insecurity through local mutual aid initiatives. My creative practices include collage, photography, and writing—and someday, I hope to publish a memoir exploring my personal experiences with death, grief, and forgiveness.
