Our Neurodivergent Process and Support Group meets for 10 weeks and is a group for individuals with Autism and/or ADHD. Andersonville Mindfulness & Psychology is an LGBTQ+ affirming practice and encourages those who identify as part of the queer community to join this peer support group.

By joining the group:

  • You will utilize peer support to increase your awareness of common issues related to neurodivergence
  • Share and learn new ways of accessing and communicating your support needs
  • Increase your feelings of social connection and understanding

Cost is $400* for the 10-week group; several reduced fee spots available. Completion of an intake appointment is required for new clients, maximum fee for intake is $40. This group may be billable to your health insurance, inquire via email. Group participants must be 18+ and reside in IL. Each group format has a minimum number of participants to run. Commitment is 10 sessions, and each session is 90-minutes.

 

This group is now offered in-person, as well as virtually. See facilitator info below:

  • Virtual group will be facilitated by Birdie Bennett, LPC. Minimum 5 people to run, maximum of 8. Starting Thurs. 6/12 at 5pm-6:30pm CT
  • In-person group will be co-facilitated by Melissa Mooney, LPC and Kelsey Woodbury, MA. Minimum 8 people to run, maximum of 11.
