Neurodivergent Process and Support Group

Our Neurodivergent Process and Support Group meets for 10 weeks and is a group for individuals with autism and/or ADHD.

By joining the group:

  • You will utilize peer support to increase your awareness of common issues related to neurodivergence
  • Share and learn new ways of accessing and communicating your support needs
  • Increase your feelings of social connection and understanding

Maximum of 11 participants, and group runs with 7 or more participants. Group participants musts be 18+, and must reside in Illinois to participate. Group commitment is 10-weeks, and all sessions are planned for 90-minutes. Drop-in attendance is not permitted. This group is currently offered in-person, and is co-facilitated by Melissa Mooney, LPC and Kelsey Woodbury, LPC. ✨ Next cohort will begin on Sat. January 17, 2026

Fees and Registration:

Cost is $400* for the 10-week group; several reduced fee spots available. Completion of an intake appointment is required for new clients, maximum fee for intake is $40. This group may be billable to your BCBS PPO, Aetna PPO or Cigna PPO insurance plan.

Space Considerations and Accommodations:

We are committed to making our space welcoming and accessible. Our office is located on the first floor with no steps to navigate. If you use a mobility device, please let us know in advance, and a team member will be happy to assist you with a smooth entry. We also have two ADA-compliant, all-gender restrooms.

 

For public transit, we are a short walk from the CTA Red Line’s Bryn Mawr station and CTA’s Broadway and Peterson bus lines. Metered street parking is available on Broadway and Bryn Mawr Avenues.

 

The group room is furnished with armless, cushioned chairs designed to comfortably accommodate a wide range of body types. The room’s layout can be adjusted to ensure everyone feels comfortable and has enough space. Masks are available in the lobby for those who wish to wear them, but they are not required for clients or staff at this time.

 

As an LGBTQ+ affirming practice, we warmly welcome members of the queer community to all of our group therapy offerings.
