Free Weekly Meditation Group

Ongoing Group | Wednesday Evenings | Meeting in-person, drop-ins welcome

The purpose of this group is to create a supportive and nurturing space where individuals can explore the practice of meditation, deepen their understanding, and cultivate a sense of inner calm and resilience. Whether you are new to meditation or have an established practice, this group will provide an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and embark on a journey of self-discovery together.

Neurodivergent Process and Support Group

Saturdays from 10:00am -11:30am CT | Meeting in-person in Andersonville

Our Neurodivergent Process and Support Group meets for 10-weeks and is a group for individuals with Autism and/or ADHD. Andersonville Mindfulness & Psychology is a LGBTQ+ affirming practice and encourages those who identify a part of the queer community to join this peer support group.

Mindful Anger Management

Anger management is a 10-week curriculum-based group combining classic anger management skills and mindfulness. The group will explore the evolutionary role of anger, when anger is appropriate, the difference between assertiveness and aggressiveness, and how to differentiate between anger, fear, and frustration.

Transcending Gender

Tuesdays from 7:00pm-8:30pm CT | Meeting in-person in Andersonville

Looking for a place to talk about and deconstruct gender? This 12-week group will focus on making space for the nuances of gender, the diversity of gender experiences, and will explore gender’s expression. People of all gender identities and expressions are welcome to join.

Living in Your Body: A Disordered Eating Process Group

Group Forming for 2024/2025 | Email to be added to interest list

This 8-week therapy group will explore the challenges of living in your body in the face of diet culture and fatphobia. Participants will encounter new ways to connect and cope through peer-to-peer discussions and interactive group sharing. Conversations will be framed around a variety of topics to include: inner child work, dismantling diet culture, HAES approach to health and wellbeing, and self-compassion.

Recovery Dharma for Addictions

Ongoing: Monday evenings | Meeting in-person in Andersonville

Recovery Dharma (formerly called Refuge Recovery) is a non-theistic, Buddhist-inspired approach to recovery from addictions of all kinds. The meetings are peer-led and include guided meditations, readings, and group sharing and discussion.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction is an 8-week evidence based curriculum targeted to learn meditation strategies to reduce stress, physical pain, and emotional suffering.
